Stripe Connect allows you to hook your Fusebill account up to stripe using an easier to use configuration process. This uses OAuth to authenticate and provide permissions to Fusebill in order to perform credit card or ACH transactions.
There are separate gateways for Credit card and ACH transactions, so be sure to configure the correct ones.
You will need a login with administrative rights to your Stripe account, and a login with settings changing permissions to your Fusebill account.
If you are switching from Stripe to Stripe Connect and are using the Fusebill API, there will also be a required endpoint change if your team is using the Fusebill API to add Stripe tokens to Fusebill. This is highlighted at the end of this document.
Setting up the Gateway
Navigate to the gateways page and expand the "Show Other Supported Gateways":
Select Stripe Connect from the list of Gateway:
If you already have an account with Stripe, there is a link to sign in on the top right corner:
If you are already logged into Stripe, you may be presented with a different screen, either requesting that you log in as an administrator, or whether or not to permit the connection.

Once completed and authenticated, you will be presented with a Fusebill Gateway configuration screen. Click Save when done:
If you are switching from Stripe to Stripe Connect, it is ok and even advised that you keep the other gateway until you can confirm that transactions are successfully being passed between the two systems.
In order for Fusebill to begin transacting through the newly configured Stripe Connect gateway, change the default gateway in your account's routing settings to process through the new gateway.
This can be done by navigating to Settings > Collections > Routing. Then selecting "Stripe Connect" for the Credit Card or ACH transaction default and clicking "Set".
If there are any issues with transactions moving forward it should just a matter of switching this Routing setting back to the previous Stripe gateway.
If your team is currently adding payment methods to Fusebill using Stripe tokens and the add stripe token payment method endpoints, then these will need to be changed to use some new, Stripe token specific endpoints.
