The Fusebill Revenue By Activation Co-Hort report allows you to segments your recognized revenue data by the contributions made by your customers Activated in historical monthly periods. Whenever a customer is activated they are automatically assigned to an activation co-hort matching the month in which they became active. You can then use the Revenue by Co-hort report to get a breakdown of the contributions made to any month’s recognized revenue by your historical customer base.
This powerful reporting module is ideal for:
- Tracking contributions made by historical customers to today’s revenue volume
- Giving you a view of Sales Churn over time
- Tracking trends in your 2nd month and annual retention rates
- Take pro-active steps to mitigate against churn
Selecting Your Data Range
You can run the Revenue by Activation Cohort report for specific monthly periods. You can start the report from a specific month and can display data for x months. Note that all historical co-hort groups that contributed to revenue for the specified date range will be returned.
You must run the Revenue by Activation Co-Hort report separately for each active currency under your account.
Include Write Offs
You can choose whether or not to include write offs in your Revenue By Activation Co-Hort data.
Summary for Specified Period
When run, the report will provide you a summary of all revenue activity for the period you specified in order to give you a sense of the scale of data being looked at.
Line Graph of Revenue by Cohort Data
The line graph will display each cohort as a separate line and allow a quick visual view of how the recognized revenue for customers activated in specific months is trending over time.
Option to Display as Percentage Retention
If desired, the Activation Co-Hort line graph can be toggled to display data in the form of percentage remaining. The percentage is based on the revenue volume from the original month of the cohort. This display method is ideal in order to better commonize retention rate analysis for various periods that differ widely in actual revenue volumes.
Activation Cohort Data Grid
The Data Grid at the bottom of the Revenue By Activation Co-Hort report provides a month by month view of the contribution made by each historical group to your total recognized revenue.
