The Revenue By Customer Report allows you to get a breakdown of your monthly recognized revenue by individual customer entities. This report is ideal for
- Identifying your largest customers from a Net Revenue perspective
- Tracking trends in your customer sales behavior
- Assessing your risk level from a customer demographic perspective
- Identifying customers who are experiencing declining sales activity
Selecting Your Data Range
You can run the Revenue by customer report for specific monthly periods. You can start the report from a specific month and can display data for x months.
Specify Currency
You must run the Revenue by customer report separately for each active currency under your account.
Include Writeoffs
You can choose whether or not to include write offs in your Revenue By Customer data.
Summary for Specified Period
When run the report will provide you a summary of all Revenue activity for the period you specified in order to give you a sense of the scale of data being looked at.
Heat Map of Top Customers
The Revenue By Customer report will provide a visual representation of your top 10/25/50 or 100 customers in the form of a heat map graph. The graph allows you to see the relative contribution of your top customers to your total revenue for the period requested. Any additional customers are grouped together in a category called “All Others” This allows for a quick visual representation of how much of a portion of total revenues are coming from your top customers.
Drill Down into Specific Customers
You can drill down into any specific customer from the Heat Graph in order to see a bar graph view of the customers monthly revenue activity.
Specifying Display Label
You can select to display Company name, your reference id or customer name in the heat map. This gives you the control of how your customers should be represented depending on the data you are storing on the customer entities within Fusebill.
The Data Grid at the bottom of the Revenue By Customer report provides a month by month view of the contribution your top customers made to total revenue by period. The data in the grid is sorted by largest contributor to the full period descending. Only the top 10/25/50 or 100 customers are displayed on the screen dependent on the filter selected.
Exporting Data with Full Customer Details
You can export the Revenue By Customer data. When you do so you can select to Include Full customer details with the data in order to do your own segmentation using alternate customer level fields. When you select to export Revenue By Customer data all customers with revenue activity in the period specified are included in the data as separate entries.
