Customer hierarchy allows the sharing of payment methods of parent customers with child customers. This sharing of payments can be up to 4 levels of hierarchy. This means that a great grandparent customer can share their payment method with their child, who can share with their child, who then can share with their child. The child customers are able to leverage the parent payment method to pay for their subscriptions without needing their own payment method.
As well, each child customer can have their own payment method to purchase products using their own payment method or pay for their own subscriptions.
