Subscription Expiry Notifications with Self-Service Renewal
Plans can now be configured to have a default expiry term, which will be applied to each customer's subscription. A new Pending Expiry email can also be set up to remind your customers of the expiry, and direct them to the Fusebill Self-Service Portal to renew their subscription themselves - streamlining the order-to-cash process.
Single Sign-On Support for API Integrators
For those who prefer to implement your own branded self-service portal site, the Fusebill API now provides a Single Sign-On (SSO) token mechanism which can be used to automatically link your portal into our SSP for customer self-service such as payment updates, address & contact changes, and the new renewal feature mentioned above.
Small Updates and Enhancements
In addition to the major features, we are always working on small enhancements to hopefully make your Fusebill experience that much better. Here's what's new this release:
- The "Add Payment" screen on a Customer's Invoices tab now includes the Posted Date of the invoices in the Allocations table at the bottom of the page, to help you better determine which Invoices are relevant to the payment.
- The Draft Invoices screen under the Invoices tab has been split into separate sub-tabs for easier navigation and viewing. There are now separate tabs for Ready, Pending, Projected, Cancelled, and an "All" view.
- Miscellaneous performance improvements on the Fusebill Admin site.
Important Maintenance Notice
In accordance with PCI-DSS 3.1 guidelines, Fusebill will be removing support for TLS 1.0 as of March 31st, 2016.
Fusebill Admin UI users who are using older browsers (please check vendor web sites for information) may no longer be able to connect to the web interface.
In addition, integrated systems running on older operating systems and communicating with Fusebill back-end APIs or Webhooks may also no longer function.
To remedy this, please ensure the systems you are using to communicate with Fusebill support at least TLS 1.1 or higher on or before this date.
