Fusebill provides some control over how fields are displayed within the Fusebill UI so they more meaningful to your business. Enter your custom field names into areas pictured below.
- To modify the label of any one of these fields, simply overwrite the Label field with the text you want to use. Each label must be less than 100 characters.
- Click Update to save the changes.
The new field name will now be used everywhere in the UI and the CSV downloads where these fields appear.
MRR Display type
Please refer to the article, How Fusebill Calculates MRR, for more information about how the values are calculated to help you choose which one is right for you.
You can choose one of two types of MRR to show in your reports: Committed or Current MRR. Toggle the button accordingly and click Update to save the change.
Once you have chosen the type of MRR, all areas of the UI will display those values as the MRR (there is no visual indication of which type of MRR is being used anywhere in the UI - it is simply displayed as "MRR"). This value will also be exported in CSV downloads wherever the MRR value appears.
You can switch the type of MRR being shown at any time; however, keep in mind that the numbers could vary widely and could cause confusion if anyone is keeping track of MRR values over time in reports that are external to Fusebill. Also, this setting applies account-wide; there is no customer override and it cannot be configured per report or dashboard. Both types of MRR are, however, calculated every day for your Fusebill environment so that historical information is not lost if you choose to switch between one type of MRR and the other for your reporting purposes.
Note: We strongly recommend you read the article How Fusebill Calculates MRR and choose the right metric for your business carefully, as early as possible in your configuration of Fusebill. This will help ensure that you are looking at values that provide the closest approximation of how you would like to measure your business and that these numbers will remain consistent over time.
